It’s pretty ridiculous that some games are worth 3 points and some games are worth only 2 points. I’m all for 3 points for a regulation win.

I agree with the 3 points, same like we saw in the Olympics. Get rid of the compression at the bottom of the conference.

They really need to implement the rule that John Davidson suggested all the way back in 2006 right after the lockout..Having teams get 3 points for a regulation win instead of 2.

Too often we all see teams tied in the third period with under 10 minutes left and we are forced to watch a careful hockey game on both sides. If there were 2 additional points at stake for a regulation win, I really don’t see this happening as much.

I think if a team takes a penalty with less than 1 minute left in the game, the other team should get a penalty shot. No matter what the score is.

While nobody can argue the mistakes that were made pre-lockout, or the dollar amount and milage given to a few free agents over the past few summers… I think the Fire Sather stuff is just a bit over the top.

For all the bad that Glen has bestowed upon us Garden Faithful, there have been some good he has done as well, but will never be given credit for.

I think people who want him ousted and someone like Messier put in to take his place are insane if they think the job will all of a sudden be resurrected.

Do I think the Rangers would improve if Sather weren’t GM… probably over some time… it’s possible.

Do I think the Rangers can improve if Sather remains GM for one or two more seasons… probably… it’s possible.

The Fire Sather chants and this ralley while valiant, are bit overdone!
