New Posts Will Appear Under
The NHL has posted a video to Facebook of Rangers first-round pick Dylan McIlrath and former Rangers star Adam Graves talking about the tour of New York they took with the lucky winners of this contest.
…It doesn’t seem like I can embed video from Facebook, but at least it gives me the opportunity/excuse to use this effin’ awesome picture of Graves. “What’s that, this cut on my face is covering my jersey in blood? Didn’t even notice. I’ve got hockey to play here, hoss.”
There have been a lot of McIlrath interviews since he’s been drafted, and I think the kid really gives interesting interviews that aren’t completely filled with sports player cliches, especially for a guy who wasn’t really groomed as a top-10 pick.
…Well, he’s saying all the right things. It sounds like the kid’s really got a good head on his shoulders. He seems genuinely humble and interested in improving, and I think he’ll be great for the Rangers when he’s ready for the NHL.
Apparently the video vanished when I edited this post. Sorry about that. It’s back now.
From last night’s Geico Sportsnite:
Dylan McIlrath, first rounder, takes on Randy McNaught, seventh rounder, for the heavyweight title:
…Thanks to Rich for sending this in.
