Artem Anisimov has points in five playoff games this season but has had at least two points in three of those games.
In total, Anisimov has three goals and five assists in 13 playoff games while averaging 17 minutes a game.
The NY Post has more on Anisimov.
Anisimov’s play and ice time have been a talked about subject so far in the playoffs.
Anisimov turns 24 years old on May 24th.
#NYR Asked Artem Anisimov if he’s pretty satisfied with his game lately: “No.” Why not? “It’s playoffs. Have to be better.”

Original Post: 9:29PM:
Update: 10:23PM: John Tortorella on the MSG Post game show.
“I didn’t make him available. He feels awful about it.”
“He’s a great kid. I don’t think he realized what would happen. I don’t think it’s planned by him. He crossed a line. He apologized to the team right away. It was wrong, he knows that, the leadership of the club will take over.”
“it’s wrong, we all know that. It was the wrong thing to do. I’m in a protective mode with him because I think he deserves protecting. He is a solid solid guy who made a mistake. He’s not an idiot. There are some idiots in our league but he isn’t an idiot”
Ryan Callahan said on the post game show that Anisimov didn’t mean anything by it, that he likes to celebrate and he understands what he did

Update: 7:24PM: At NHL.com, Dave Lozo got reaction from some members of the Lightning:
“I don’t know if you saw the replay, but he turned back and pointed the stick like a gun and shot it at Vinny. We don’t need that in our sport. For the most part, you don’t see that too much. But it happens once in a while and it’s dealt with.”
“He pointed his stick and fired it our net, so I’m sure Torts wasn’t really impressed with that,” Lecavalier said. “He wasn’t very respectful.”
At Ranger Rants, Henrik Lundqvist was telling Andrew Gross about how in his third season Artem Anisimov is continuing to grow into a more comfortable role on the ice and in the locker room:
“He’s gotten more and more comfortable with everybody,” Lundqvist said. “He’s a very talented guy. He’s kind of quiet but when he says something, it’s usually pretty funny.”
Artie is funny, but I love the Brian Boyle imitation of Artie:
