Yesterday the Pittsburgh Penguins re-signed 38 year old RW Bill Guerin to a one year $2 million dollar deal.
Guerin was acquired by Pittsburgh from the Islanders at last years trade deadline and had 15 points for Pitt en route to their Stanley Cup victory.

Darren Dreger just reported on TSN that Bill Guerin has been traded to the Penguins.
The deal is Bill Guerin to the Pens for a 5th round pick.
If the Pens make the playoffs the Islanders get a 4th round pick and if the Pens win a round the Islanders get a 3rd round pick.
NHL Live reports from Pierre Lebrun of ESPN that the Bill Guerin trade has fallen through.
Guerin has been reported to have been dealt to a mystery team since Saturday night yet the deal was never consummated.
