News: Rangers Sign Christopher Higgins

(Update) The deal is reportedly one year at $2.25 million.
The Rangers have come to terms on a new contract with Christopher Higgins.
Higgins was acquired last week along with Ryan McDonagh and Pavel Valentenko for Scott Gomez.
Higgins had been a restricted free agent.
Terms of the deal have not been announced.
