At ESPN.com, Pierre LeBrun thinks that Paul Gaustad would would be a nice fit with the Rangers.
“He’s a better fit on this team than most people realize.”
Gaustad, 30, is a UFA at the end of the season and has a cap hit of $2.3 million.
He has 7 goals and 10 assists this season for Buffalo and he averages nearly 3 minutes a game killing penalties.
Gaustad is 11th in the league in faceoffs at 56.2%. Last season he finished third in faceoff percentage at nearly 60%.
He is 6-5, 218.
