During TSN’s segment “The Quiz” former coach Marc Crawford said that he thought that the Rangers are the most likely team to acquire Rick Nash.
Crawford said “he is a big power forward that will compliment those skilled forwards Gaborik and Callahan”
Crawford goes on to say that he isn’t worried about ruining any chemistry because the likely cost for Nash would be prospects and maybe one player “like Dubinsky.” He also says “players don’t mind when you get a great player and Rick Nash qualifies as a great player. Rick Nash excites that team and lets them know that they are going for it.”
Bob McKenzie picked LA because of their need to add scoring and because of the chips that they have like Jonathan Bernier and Jack Johnson.
Former Rangers defenseman Aaron Ward picked the team that the Rangers traded him to, the Boston Bruins.
