At ESPN.com, Pierre LeBrun lists Dan Girardi fifth in his rankings for this seasons Norris Trophy.
Ahead of Girardi on the list are Shea Weber, Zdeno Chara, Nicklas Lidstrom and Alexander Edler.
It has been suggested before that Girardi should garner attention for the Norris Trophy.
