In the Daily News, Dan Girardi told Pat Leonard that the Rangers expect the other teams best every night and are ready to go to war with the opposition.
“There’s never one night where you say this game’s going to be easy. It’s all about who’s going to out-battle the other team.”
Marian Gaborik told the NY Post, ““We have a team where everybody has bought into the system and we can all count one another to be there when it gets tough.”
Gaborik added, “We don’t have the same kind of talent as a team like Philadelphia. We can’t dipsy-doodle or go coast-to-coast. We have to battle on every shift. We have to play together like a machine, which we’ve done.”
