Back in October, Henrik Lundqvist remarked that he wanted to have his best season of his career this season.

He told Pat Leonard in the Daily News that he is using the Giants Super Bowl win as motivation to do the same, “That’s definitely the biggest thing for me — to finish strong, get into the playoffs and make a run at it.”
He has the team in front him, the best he has ever had, to make a run when they get into the playoffs. He is playing at such a level that he can cover up some weaknesses, such as the power play, and carry them to wins like he has done so many times during his career. If it isn’t this year, it will be soon because Lundqvist is going to force his way into getting his and his Ranger teammates’ names on the Stanley Cup.
