Thoughts:
- A bad call on the Rangers tying goal as Gabby was in the process of stopping and was pushed into Brodeur.
- A sloppy start with a lot of bad passes and passes off of skates did the Rangers no favors in this game.
- They got a lot better as the game went on but couldn’t convert with their chances.
- I don’t think it’s surprising that Brad Richards looks like “Brad Richards” when he is able to hold the puck and make plays. How he is able to hold the puck more and get some space still seems to be a work in progress.
- The Devils are hot and there are four legitimately good teams in the Atlantic division. It’s going to be a tough road to win the division.
