Note: Andrew Yogan Is Back In Juniors

by Adam Rotter on September 26th, 2011 at 12:02 pm

When the Rangers cut Andrew Yogan on Saturday he was sent to Peterborough of the OHL and not to Hartford to play in the AHL.

Yogan was eligible for an overage season and was traded from Erie during the summer.

He missed the final game in Traverse City due to a shoulder injury.

I think this is the best thing for him. Hopefully he can do what Ryan Callahan did in his overage year and dominate the OHL before going to Hartford. I wonder how much his shoulder injury played into him being sent to the OHL and not AHL. He looked pretty good, though should have had more goals, in Traverse City and could have a nice future ahead of him.
