News: Alex Frolov To Wear #31

In looking back over the Rangers numerical roster, I managed to forget listing the great Guy Hebert who also wore 31, as well as living legend Vitali Yeremeyov.

According to a tweet from Laurie at Beyond The Blueshirts, Alexander Frolov told a Russian newspaper that he will wear #31 for the Rangers this season.
…I won’t go into my whole Dan Blackburn spiel — you can use the search to find those posts — but to me, he is the only 31. Plus, that’s a goalie number. Going to look a little weird seeing a skater wear that.
In Rangers history, Rob Zaumer is the only non-goalie of 13 players to wear #31.
