News: Rangers Draft Andrew Yogan

by Adam Rotter on June 26th, 2010 at 2:36 pm

With the 100th pick, the Rangers have drafted center Andrew Yogan.

He is 6-3, 200, and was 25 and 30 for Erie last season. The season before, he was 17 and 17 in 34 games for Erie.

Before that, he was a member of the Windsor Spitfires, and in 66 games over two seasons there he had 15 points.

…SIZE. From Boca Raton, Florida, so he should fit in pretty well in New York, since most people down there are former NYers.

Here is a story from a Florida paper on him.

A big boy who plays center, who can rack up points and fights! Awesome!!!

I just watched about 4 fights of his on youtube.

Apparently to the Rangers fighting is what wins in the NHL.
