In Russia’s 2-1 loss to the Czech Republic in the finals of the World Championships, the Rangers Artem Anisimov only played 5:02 and not at all in third period.

Laurie from Beyond The Blueshirts writes that Anisimov hurt his hand and even after receiving pain killing injections in between periods he couldn’t grip his stick.
