Note: Conference Finals Start Tonight
Today the NHL starts the Eastern and Western Conference finals in San Jose and Philadelphia.
The Sharks take on the Chicago Blackhawks at 3PM on NBC and the Flyers host the Montreal Canadiens at 7PM on Versus.
Arthur Staple in Newsday previews the series and picks Montreal in five and Chicago in six.
…I have no idea who to pick. Especially in the West. I like players on both teams and think both deserve a shot at the cup so I will cop out and just hope for a good long series.
In the East its like two teams of destiny, both of which weren’t guaranteed playoff spots till the last weekend. Philly has more talent but Montreal has ousted the two best teams. I think its going to be more even than people think and with what is happened I wouldn’t be shocked if either team won, but I will take Montreal and Jaroslav Halak in six games.
