Scoreboard: Flyers, Atlanta, Boston Lose

The Rangers gained immense help in their pursuit of the playoffs tonight as the Philadelphia Flyers lost to the Islanders 6-4, Boston lost to Florida 1-0 on a first period goal and Atlanta lost to Washington 2-1.

The Rangers still sit in tenth place with 78 points but have two games in hand on Atlanta in ninth place which has 80 points. Boston in eighth place is four points ahead but the Rangers have one game in hand on them.

The Flyers sit in sixth place, also with 82 points and the Rangers have a game in hand on them and Montreal also.

…It all went right tonight and they need to win tomorrow and Saturday. Those games are crucial for the Rangers to pick up ground and get towards the playoffs

    Okay now we got a little help so lets capitalize and win the next few and put ourselves right into the mix to control our own destiny …..all of those teams probably wont lose on the same night again the rest of the season so how bout we dont have a let down and play like a bunch idiots ….lets go BLUE we NEED this game !
