In his first start for the Hartford Wolfpack since being sent down, Steve Valiquette struggled and let in five goals on 31 shots, in Hartford’s 7-1 loss to Manchester.
Valley was pulled midway through the first after giving up three goals but returned to start the second after Matt Zaba gave up two goals.

…Not the start he must have been hoping for. This wasn’t going to be a quick fix for Valley to get him back up with the Rangers. This could take more than a few games of top play from Valley before the Rangers can think about bringing him back.
