After the Rangers dropped their fourth in five games, John Tortorella took the microphone and said that the Rangers just need to stay the course:

“You stay with it.  You just keep on trying to battle through this and stay with it.  You go to work tomorrow and keep on banging away on it.”

…That has been what Tortorella has been saying all season long in postgames. They only showed a brief snippet of his postgame last night, actually, this quote appeared, and Torts seemed mild mannered and cool. Its like he knows something is going to happen with the team and he won’t let himself get upset over it. Its strange, because at some point he is going to have to get angry. Maybe, as he said a few days ago, its too early to look at the standings and that is why. It just confuses me.
