Yesterday AOL Fanhouse came out with their weekly NHL Power Rankings. The Rangers are slotted at #14 and Christopher Botta compares them to the old-days of their Garden counterparts:
Without Brandon Dubinsky and Chris Drury — who wasn’t scoring anyway — the Rangers are reminiscent of the New York Knicks of old. The Knicks had Bernard King, the Rangers only have Marian Gaborik. Blueshirts better find solutions quick or they will sink like a stone.
Read the rest of the rankings at Fanhouse.
…PLEASE, I MEAN PLEASE, DON’T LET WHAT HAPPENED TO BERNARD KING HAPPEN TO GABORIK.
