What can you possibly say? Same old Rangers? Good start with that one. Let’s face it my Ranger brothers this team is no closer to winning the cup than any other team Sather has put on the ice since 2000. How long till James Dolan realizes we have the wrong guy at the helm? Well since Sather didn’t rape anybody (none that we know of yet), and he is not involved in any other scandals (that we know of yet), I doubt Dolan even thinks there is anything wrong. He’s making money hand over foot (at the fans expense 100%) so to him the “business” is doing just fine. Hey Dolan did your comatose brain get to witness that little procession down Broadway last Friday? That was called a parade you idiot. That’s what you receive from the city when your team is on top of the world, a parade down the canyon of heroes. Unfortunately the only thing you may be on top of is a naked Glen Sather after he picks up the soap you dropped in the shower. The only parade for the Rangers will be the angry mob following the limo escorting Sather down the canyon of ZEROES ( the newly named route for the Belt Parkway to Kennedy airport). Similar to the angry mob escorting Dr. Frankenstein out of Transylvania. Things are very wrong with this team leaving us no better than the best Jagr team if even that good! Dubinsky, Callahan, Drury, and Higgins have all been major disappointments and that is being very very kind. Gaborik has been great as well as Prospal. Del Zotto has been very good, and Kotalik has done some very nice things. Anisimov has been good and will have to be much better than that now with the injuries. And Lisin needs to back up his good play with consistent point scoring. Bottom line is that we need another sniper (35-40 goal threat) which is obviously not on the roster or even in the system right now. We need a behemoth on Defense, a guy like Tyler Myers would do just fine. Looking ahead to April this team will be very lucky to even make the playoffs and if they do a first round exit is the best we’ll ever get this year or the foreseeable future. Well this Ranger fan is sick of that crap already. If that’s the best the team’s front office can do with putting a product on the ice then my playoff tickets if there even are any are officially up for sale. Let the chants, rants and raves begin, FIRE SATHER. FIRE SATHER, FIRE SATHER. Let Messier take over the operation. The last thing we need is for Sather to train him. In fact Messier needs to do the exact opposite of whatever Slats has done over the last decade of futility. What a damn shame it is that we are wasting the career of Henrik Lundqvist. In fact here is a riddle that sums it all up. What do you get when you combine a world class goalie with a team of blue collar lunch pail type of guys and (1) super star (First Jagr now Gaborik)? You get a first round exit (if you’re lucky) and a pack of angry fans. Can someone please contact the Hanson brothers? I need to put a bounty on Dolan’s and Sather’s head. The Hanson’s have been quite inactive since Reggie croaked so their having a 2 for 1 bounty sale. Don’t forget the foil guys!!!!!!!!!!!
