Earlier in the week, it was reported that the Rangers were scouting Peter Forsberg in the Karjla Cup.

Today Larry Brooks, in the New York Post, writes that Director of Player Personnel Gordie Clark is part of the contingent scouting Forsberg.

Clark is joined by director of European scouting Christer Rockstrom and European pro scout, Anders Hedberg.

The tournament concludes today.

…With the injuries the Rangers just suffered Forsberg could be an interesting alternative to bringing up Evgeny Grachev, but again, its going to be all about money with him.
