Adam,
through 4 preseason games I have determined that…
- Chad Johnson > Valley
- Gilroy and DZ need to make this team, and frankly this team needs them
- Semenov is an upgrade over Redden or Rosival
- Sangs is better than either as well
- Anisimov to center the 2nd/3rd line depending on where torts plays Prospal
Do you know if Dubi has been skating or working out at all during these escapades?
You think Torts will slowly work him in or throw him into the mix immediatley?
Lastly, is Gabs a definite for Monday?
Agree on most of it. Chad Johnson looked really good but he should play the year in the minors before assuming the role of Henrik’s back up.
Starting to agree that Del Zotto should make the team but I wouldn’t cry a river if he didn’t. Him or Sangs on as 6th defensemen should help increase the scoring, which could offset the problems that Redden and Rozi cause.
Dubi had been skating for awhile before camp started. Don’t know what hes been doing since the hold-out started.
Torts will probably throw him right back into it.
Nothing is definite with Gabs but I would certainly expect him to play on Monday.
i also think chad johnson could handle the backup duties but theres no rush there….i actually think chad johnsons got number 1 potential if henrik ever went down (pray he doesnt) then i wouldnt feel to uncomfortable wtih johnson in the crease on the regular hes so calm back there and he never seems to let up a rebound
