Following today’s win over Boston, the Rangers trimmed their roster down to 25 players.

The following players were re-assigned to Hartford:

Goalies Chad Johnson and Matt Zaba; defensemen Ilkka Heikkinen and Corey Potter; and forward Paul Crowder.

There are now two goalies, eight defensemen and 15 forwards left with the Rangers.

The Rangers next play on Monday night against Detroit.

….So that leaves Semenov, Sangs and Del Zotto all fighting for spot number six. The popular choice will be Del Zotto but I think it will be Sangs with Semenov being the seventh defenseman.
