News: Shanny Back To Jersey
Tom Gulitti reports that Brendan Shanahan has agreed to a one year deal to return to New Jersey.
Terms were not yet disclosed and the official announcement will come later today.
Shanahan. 40, had six goals and eight assists in 34 games with the Devils last season, after signing in January.
Shanahan had spent the previous two seasons before that as a Ranger.
…Well I am glad that the rumors of Shanny returning to the Rangers are done. While it would have been an intriguing move to bring him back in a powerplay/leader role, its probably for the best that he returns to Jersey.
