News: Devils Sign Zajac
The New Jersey Devils have announced that they have signed RFA Travis Zajac to a multi-year deal to avoid arbitration.
Zajac had 20 goals and 42 assists last season for the Devils.
Zajac, 24, was the Devils first round pick in 2004 and has 138 career points in 244 games played.
…I wonder how much this impacts Brandon Dubinsky and what he asks for. Zajac had 20 points more but seemed to have his breakout season maybe just ahead of Dubinsky’s. Nonetheless, I expect Dubi be re-signed by Monday.
