RDS is reporting that 38 year old Robert Lang is going to sign in the  KHL, and wants to finish his career in the NHL.

Lang had been talking with Avangard Omsk of the KHL, which is Jaromir Jagr’s team.

Jagr and Lang had played together previously in Pittsburgh and Washington.

He had 39 points in 50 games for the Montreal Canadiens last season, where is salary was $4 million.

…Some people still think that the Rangers need a #1 center for Marian Gaborik, so here is another option. Some other team will probably offer him more than the Rangers can but he can still play at 38 and would be an interesting pivot for the top line.
