(Update) The deal is worth $525,000 per season for two seasons
The Rangers have agreed to terms with newly acquired Brian Boyle.
Boyle was acquired for a third round pick on June 27th and was a restricted free agent.
The 6-7 252lb Boyle, 24, was a first round pick of the LA Kings in 2003.
Last season Boyle played 28 games for the Kings and had four goals and one assist.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed right away.
Boyle should be the Rangers fourth line center, which could be very big with him and Brashear and maybe Dane Byers. That is a pretty scary line for an opposition if they can do there job.
Monzo: Boyle shut down Artem Anisimov in the AHL last year, which is not something a lot of people can say, as Anisimov broke out offensively. This officially should mean goodbye to Blair Betts (personally shocked the top 4th liner center and a top face-off and penalty killer hasn’t been signed yet).

“Their”!
Clerical error! The NHLPA is coming after you!!
any terms released on boyle?
