The Philadelphia Flyers have signed RW Ian Laperriere formerly of the Colorado Avalanche.

His deal is three years at $3.5 million.

Laperriere played 28 games with the Rangers in 1995-96.

The Montreal Canadiens have signed defenseman Hal Gill.

Gill signed a two year deal worth 4.5 million. Last season Gill played with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
