Reports are that the Washington Capitals have signed former Ranger and Flyer Mike Knuble to a two year deal worth $2.8 million per.

Knuble had 27 goals and 20 assists for the Flyers last season.

He will be 37 come Saturday and was a Ranger from 1998 to 2000.

Monzo: A little bothered by this.  Really thought NYR would get him.  He will be force for the Caps — but this should eliminate the Caps from getting Mike Cammalleri.
