Look at Pittsburgh, 2 of 3 top point scorers in the league in Crosby and Malkin. They will always contend with those two. We need our own 1-2 punch. You have my vote for Kovulchuk!! And the deal hossa just signed for 12 years 5+ mil per. But if he gets hurt and we're 7.5 in the hole again can we finally see Sather to the exit door please. That's why I look at this as a no lose situation. The Rangers are either going to get a great scorer or get rid of a rotten GM. Best skater in the league??? Ovechkin may have something to say about that but there's no doubt he is as prolific a scorer as there is when healthy. And I still say lets make a trade with the Thrashers for Kovulchuk. Dubi, Rozi, Drury, Korpikoski and Sanguinetti (if necessary) to get this deal done. Let me repeat NOBODY HAS SCORED AS MANY GOALS IN THE LAST 6 YEARS AS KOVULCHUK!
