Ryan Ellis is a 5′ 9″ 173lb defenseman who plays for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.
Ellis scored 22 goals and added 67 assists this past season including 23 more points in the OHL playoffs.

Ellis is the 16th ranked North American skated according to Central Scouting. The Rangers have drafted defenseman in the first round in two of the last three seasons.
