PostGame: Rangers 2 Capitals 1

The New York Rangers defeated the Washington Capitals 2-1 to go up 3 to 1 in the series.Capitals Rangers Hockey

Rotter: This game was pretty crazy.  I am pretty sure that I was nearly thrown out of the Ithaca College library when Henrik Lundqvist made some of those saves. It was very stressful.  As for Mr. Sean Avery, well I hope he enjoys playing with Blair Betts and Colton Orr or on the revolving third line because that is where he is headed after his third period performance.  I had a TSN stream of the game going on my computer during group work and they showed Tortorella steamed and shooting glances over at the penalty box.  Even though the Rangers won and the penalty killing was again fantastic, Avery shouldn’t have put them in that situation.  Avery or not, the Rangers are now one win away from upsetting the Washington Capitals and moving on to Boston.  Friday night in Washington is going to be crazy.

    miserable performance by avery in the third.. you cant take that one with that little time left… great job overall, i know were being outshot this whole series but i hope we can bring the quickness that we have somewhat gained in this series and carry it through the next few games into boston (hopefully). Drury is hurt but he had a great goal, very happy for him hoping this leads to more game winning goals for our future (ill never forget about the one when he was with the sabres)….zherdev needs to pick it up!!! comon kid is a star and he needs to realize it….lets go rangers……!
