Bob McKenzie at his blog for TSN, reports that the Philadelphia Flyers are trying to make a move to get defenseman Jay
Bouwmeester, however the salary cap is causing problems.
Boumeester has been rumored to the Flyers for a few weeks now, with the Flyers sending to Florida anyone from Joffrey Lupul to Scottie Upshall to top prospect James Van Riemsdyk.
A move McKenzie mentions that could free up salary cap space for the Flyers is to move goalie Martin Biron and going with Antero Niittymaki as the started. Biron has a no trade clause and would have to agree to any move.
