Postgame: Bruins 1 Rangers 0

The Boston Bruins defeated the Rangers 1-0 in Boston this afternoon.

  • Scoring. Hello are you out there.
  • Tuuka Rask was given the start over Tim Thomas and recorded his first NHL shutout. Rask has been widely regarded as one of the top, not only goalie, but all prospects in the NHL since he was drafted.
  • Dmitri Kalinin was injured early on and the Rangers had to go to 5 D Men the rest of the way.
  • Blake Wheeler is HUGE. Gretzky was right on him though he was still taken to high probably.
  • Boston is good, they are a good team plain and simple.

The Rangers next game is Tuesday night when they will retire Adam Grave’s number against Atlanta.
