News: Prucha decision near
A decision on Petr Prucha‘s future with the Rangers is on its way. Sam Weinman’s ‘Ranger Report’ reports Tom Renney had discussions with Jim Schoenfeld and Glen Sather to decide what to do with the fourth year winger. Prucha has been a healthy scratch for 9 straight games and will likely be one again tomorrow.
Monzo: This has really dragged on long enough. Prucha has been a trooper through all of this and has been the ultimate teammate. What needs to happen is Prucha needs to play 10 games in Hartford and from there the Rangers should decide whether or not he is a full-time player or is someone they are going to move. Prucha scored 52 goals in his first two seasons, but has not been given a chance to do anything the last two seasons.
